Jay Roach—Trumbo, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery—11/12/2015

Jay Roach remains best known as a comedy director, the helmer of all three Austin Powers films, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Dinner for Schmucks, and The Campaign. But he has recently carved out a new "niche" as a director of political films, like HBO's Recount, Game Change, and the upcoming All the Way, starring Bryan Cranston as LBJ. Roach and Cranston first collaborated on Trumbo, about legendary screenwriter Dalton Trumbo and his crusade against the House Un-American Activities Committee and the Hollywood Blacklist. My interview with Roach took place on November 12, 2015 at San Francisco's Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
