Sean Gunn—Guardians of the Galaxy, Gilmore Girls—8/28/2016

/content/interviews/448/1.jpgFor some, Sean Gunn will always be Kirk Gleason, Stars Hollows' strangest resident on the beloved, recently rebooted Gilmore Girls. For others, he's best known for his collaborations with his brother, writer-director James Gunn: Guardians of the Galaxy (and the upcoming Vol. 2), Super, Slither, et al. The stage-trained actor's credits also include appearances on Bunheads, Glee, Angel, and Andy Richter Controls the Universe, among others. I recently plied the game Gunn for some non-spoiler-y teases about Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and Netflix's new Gilmore Girls telefilms. Gunn also explained how he informed the appearance of Rocket Raccoon, why he'd never throw shade at his brother, and what he remembers about his two days on the set of Michael Bay's mega-epic Pearl Harbor. Our conversation took place at the San Jose Convention Center on the floor of the 2016 Heroes & Villains Fan Fest.
