George Lucas
George Lucas—
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
—8/4/08
Well, the mythological arc of the saga doesn't really continue in these other things...which means we're not encumbered by this mythological uber-story of the psychological underpinnings of why somebody turns to be a bad person.
Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones (2002)
It's impossible...to dismiss a film with this much
stuff
: exotic production design, imaginative characters, and a wide variety of digital jedi fu.
Empire (2002)
THX 1138: The George Lucas Director's Cut (2004)
May be a naively simple variation on that other George—Orwell—but it remains a dazzling triumph of creativity and style over financial limitations.
Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith (2005)
So sound in its construction and...[its] space-operatic catharsis that even the nitpickiest fanboy will likely adopt a humbly mumbled "All is forgiven" as a daily mantra.
