Criterion's Blu-ray disc of The Last Days of Disco certainly improves on earlier releases of this title including Criterion's own DVD), but the hi-def video leaves a somewhat lackluster impression all the same. Mild compression artifacts and edge enhancement are evident, but sharpening of the image does help the sense of detail (with close-ups, not surprisingly, putting the picture's best foot forward) and the feeling of cinematic depth. Audio fares yet better in a lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 mix that puts punch behind the frequent disco cuts while never coming close to losing the dialogue in the mix.

Four "Deleted Scenes" () come with commentary by Stillman, Eigeman, and Sevigny

"From the Novel" (17:21, HD) is an audio recording of Stillman reading the epilogue from his book The Last Days of Disco, with Cocktails at Petrossian Afterwards.
