Sends the endlessly bickering couple to Paris, where the great director Roman Polanski gives them a rectal exam. I wish I were kidding.

The movie's crackpot message—'To make something special, you just have to believe it's special'—may best be proven by the existence of this funny, unpretentious crowd-pleaser.

Chan...can make something out of nothing, while Ratner's chief skills seem to be talking himself into the director's chair and hiring the right people.
